The dynamic and personalised Working With Others support and training programme for teachers has already had a dramatic impact on pupils and schools across the South East from Early Years to Secondary and into Local Authorities and Education Support organisations.
The approach has been built from practical research at the University of Brighton and I have seen it transform classrooms, inspire teachers, engage and motivate children. It is accessible, practical and easy to get to grips with and improves self-esteem in both pupils and teaching staff.
It helps pupils to:
- build trust and communicate effectively together
- increase their ability to problem solve and learn
- take responsibility for themselves and each other
- improve self esteem, confidence and inclusion
It helps teachers to
- have a deeper relationship with their class
- facilitate and structure group work
- learn new teaching approaches and to be re-energised
It helps headteachers and schools to
- further strengthen their teaching and learning
- embed a consistent approach across a whole school team
- approach and implement educational initiatives with confidence
